Chapters Purchasing Marketplace

Chapters has implemented a electronic purchasing marketplace for all products outside of those purchased by our Food & Beverage team members.The benefit of the utilizing Yardi is that all Chapters Preferred suppliers will be gathered in one site and will require only one sign on. Your shopping will be done on the suppliers websites but when the order is placed, it will go through Yardi for any applicable approvals required, G/L Coding etc…Yardi is also the system that Chapters uses for invoice tracking and settlement so all purchases from the suppliers listed below should be made through this platform if at all possible.Your Supplier Partners ready to service through the Yardi eMarketplace are:

Food & Beverage

Chapters food & beverage program is with an organization called DMA. DMA is a national organization of distributors that allows us to leverage the best of both worlds: national contract pricing, reporting and support with the best local service.Our DMA suppliers are Martin Brothers and Ben E Keith. If it hasn't been done already, your HPSI Purchasing Consultant can assist you in identifying who your account representative will be from Ben E Keith and Martin Brothers.As mentioned above Yardi will not be used for Food & Beverage Purchases. As such your community's purchases for this category should be made directly through Martin Brothers and/or Ben E Keith.

Office Supplies

Through Staples Advantage you will find a list of the Chapters specified office products formulary items. This formulary will provide many of the many of the office products that you will need with great quality and pricing.Chapters has a dedicated representative who is available to assist you with any questions or products needs including account set-up, access to Staples website and any product research or quotes that you might need.Please reach out to Emily for any of your needs.

Medical Supplies and Briefs

McKesson Medical is the preferred distributor for any medical supplies needs, including briefs. McKesson Supply has been customized with a pre-set “shopping list” of the specific products to cover the majority of your medical supply needs. You should look here first to identify any products needed before shopping through their entire catalog.If you have don’t have a McKesson login/password or need any other support at all, please contact Alysa Stillwell (alysa.stillwell@mckesson.com). Hard Surface Floor Care

HOUSEKEEPING:
No Mixing chemical/cleaners! We have partnered with SC Johnson and Staples to provide you a with a simple system of cleaners for all surfaces outside the kitchen through the TruShot 2.0 system. This system provides a refillable dispenser with a selection of cartridges allowing you to make quick changes for a variety of needs from windows to bathrooms. TruShot 2.0 is intended to be used with microfiber rags (1 per resident room and separate for different cleaning solutions) for the most effective cleaning for your community. TruShot 2.0 will provide an efficient, effective cleaning solution and eliminate the need for community team members to mix chemicals or create the waste associated with traditional dry or wet wiping systems.HAND HYGIENE:
Staples is the chosen distributor for the Chapters Hand Hygiene program products and Staples Advantage provides soaps and sanitizers listed in their Chapters. This list provides the soaps, sanitizers and dispensers available to support all key program components.If you have not yet converted to the Staples/Gojo/Purell program, please contact Emily Katz (emily.katz@staples.com) to assist you in making that transition.PAPER PRODUCTS:
Kimberly Clark/Scott is our preferred supplier for your paper products including toilet tissue, facial tissue, multi-fold and rolled paper towels. All of these items are also listed in the Chapters Living shopping list on StaplesAdvantage.comIf you need to update your dispensers, please contact Emily to assist you in coordinating with Kimberly Clark to receive those items.FLOOR CARE:
Chapters Hard Surface Floor Cleaning should be done using a Micro-Fiber system. If you are currently utilizing a traditional mop/bucket system, the transition to a micro-fiber system will provide a safer, more effective system that requires less water, less chemicals, cleans more effectively and dries much more quickly. This system will save time, money and increase safety for our associates and residents.All the products needed to start and support your micro-fiber system are available through Staples. When go to the Staples Site through Yardi, you will find a pre-set shopping list with all of the Chapters preferred Microfiber items listed.If needed, please reach out to your Staples Representative (Emily Katz) to ensure that you select the cart that best coordinates with your micro-fiber system.All cleaning supplies should be ordered through Staples. They have a full offering of all the supplies that you should need from housekeeping, floor care, etc….
